The Salisbury FBLA Chapter attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference held in Springfield, MO on April 14-16. 31 of the chapter members competed in events at the state level from written tests, to skills in Microsoft, and presentations. While at the conference, members also networked with other Missouri FBLA members, attended workshops on various topics, and participated in a community service activity creating blankets and dog toys for the local humane society. Dueling pianos entertainment, floor volleyball, and other games were also provided for the students.
Our chapter was recognized on stage at the opening ceremony for receiving the highest level a chapter can receive of gold level chapter. Carissa Knight, chapter president accepted the award on behalf of our chapter. At the Awards of Excellence program on Tuesday, 20 of our chapter members received Top 10 awards in 14 events. Five of the members were announced as first place, state champions.

8th place: Public Speaking - Maddox Stapleton
10th place: Business Ethics - Isabell Rice
10th place: Business Plan - Carissa Knight, Jake Peiffer & Patrick White
10th place: Intro to Business Presentation: Ashton Boss, Collier Kuhlman & Iris Snider
Other members who competed, but did not place in the top 10 were: Mariska Bixenman, Brynn Bachtel, Hunter Cruse, Emerson Gutz, Landon Harper, Rylie Hayward, Morgan Kallmeyer, Madison Linneman, Hanna Moore, and Anna Swallow.
Members placing in the top 4 will advance to the National Leadership Conference held in Orlando, FL on June 29-July 2.
